Beat the Heat Sports Camp Presented by Casa Colina Outdoor Adventures and Wheelchair Sports Program – May 31, 2025
Casa Colina’s Beat the Heat sports camp provides adaptive recreation and sports activities for people with disabilities. This unique camp gives first-time and returning participants the opportunity to build community through challenging sports and exhilarating outdoor activities, including outrigger canoeing, kayaking, wheelchair tennis, basketball, rugby, sailing, and more.

A full day exposition allowing for participation and exploration in a wide variety of adaptive sports to increase awareness and accessibility of local adaptive sports programs.

April 26-27 Triumph Foundation Adaptive Sports Festival | Santa Clarita
Join us at Triumph’s 12th Annual Wheelchair Sports Festival on April 26-27, 2025 in Santa Clarita. Triumph Foundation hosts this FREE event to introduce wheelchair sports to people that are newly injured, Veterans, children, and others with disabilities.
Volunteers will provide first-aid and direct athlete support for more than 100 athletes with disabilities participating in a dozen plus adapted sports clinics. Volunteers will have the opportunity to network with many of the area’s most impactful service providers and community based organizations.

Angel City Sports: Adaptive Functional Fitness Class – Burbank, CA
Join our community partners from Angel City Sports at Strange Strength and Conditioning on the first Sunday every month for an adaptive functional fitness class coached by 2X Fittest Neuro Major Woman in the World, Anna Stern.
The class is appropriate for people ages 13 and up. People with all forms of disabilities are welcome
Participants should feel free to bring a family member or caregiver for assistance.
