The Kheir Clinic’s Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program offers daily healthcare activities for eligible adults living with disabilities. Services include on-site care, personal assistance, physical therapy, speech therapy, hot meals, and more.

TASK helps families of children with disabilities learn how to navigate education for their children, including each child’s right to education without discrimination. Services include free telephone support and assistance with special education and the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process, plus workshops on special education and transition planning. It also offers free IEP consultations and document review.

Wayfinder’s offers children who have moderate-to-severe disabilities residential family living services in Wayfinder’s group homes in the Los Angeles area. Programming to help residents learn basic life skills and therapeutic recreational activities and community outings.

InClusion Services’ Adult Day Program (ADP) provides structured daily care for adults with developmental disabilities. The program provides structured full-day services and instructions to increase independence.

SCIL offers referrals to an appropriate service provider for individuals with disabilities.

Los Angeles County Community and Senior Centers offer dance classes including square dance, line dance and Zumba at multiple locations.

JFS’ Home Delivered Meal program provides home-bound seniors and people with diverse abilities with meals. You can receive either a hot meal each day or a week’s worth of frozen meals.

InClusion Services’ Adult Day Program (ADP) provides assistance for adults with developmental disabilities, including helping participants learn money management, in addition to strengthening daily skills needed to promote independence.

Free to Be Programs provides services to children with developmental disabilities of all ages in support homes in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.

Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center helps individuals with developmental disabilities apply for services including assistive technology, nursing, nutrition, physical therapy, transportation, social work, vision, case management, and more.

Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles provides assessments, management, and referrals for children with a variety of conditions and developmental disabilities.

The Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) provides education and counseling on Medicare and related health insurance issues for individuals who are eligible or who are soon to become eligible for Medicare.

Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) offers a membership that includes monthly meetings, opportunities to meet others who are hard of hearing, learn about hearing loss and receive informative publications. HLAA has chapters in Northern and Southern California.

The Communication Assistance services include document translation, free use of videophones, and equipment demonstrations​ for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

MERCI offers an extended services program for individuals with disabilities who need extra care in the morning or afternoon. A Regional Center referral is required.

The Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP) provides support to unpaid caregivers caring for elderly relatives or younger family members. Services include information and referrals, case management, counseling, support groups, respite care, and more.

MERCI offers a Discovery program which helps individuals with disabilities benefit from an individualized plan and one-on-one training to develop their specific needs.

Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center’s Early Start Program helps to create an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for children ages 0-3 with developmental disabilities. The plan can include services such as assistive technology, family training, nursing services, nutrition services, social work services and much more.

Child Development Services offers services in California to infants and toddlers who are blind, visually impaired or have multiple disabilities. Services aim to increase children’s visual functioning, sensory awareness, communication and social skills.

TASK’s TECH Connection program is an after-school group that helps transition-aged youth and young adults with disabilities better prepare themselves for the transition from school to work, college, and/or independent living.
