PIH Health provides hospice care for patients. Services include pain management, medical equipment and supplies, counseling, and assistance for caregivers.

Orange County Transportation Authority provides various means of transportation for people with disabilities including Curb-to-Curb Standard Service, Subscription Service, and Same Day Taxi Service. Riders must be certified by OCTA to use these services.

The Diabetes Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program provides blood glucose meters and testing supplies, teaches necessary skills, and provides tools for managing and controlling blood glucose.

MHAS provides free attorneys to advocate for children with special needs. Attorneys advocate for necessary services with parents, draft special education compliance complaints, and serve as a resource in disability law for the community.

Artesia Christian Home offers assisted living options for seniors ages 65 and over who are mentally coherent and can care for themselves. Features include housekeeping, kitchen, bathroom, elevator access, meals plus medication management.

Bet Tzedek offers free legal advice on filing for state and federal public benefits including social security, supplemental social security, California state disability insurance, Medi-Cal, Medicare, in-home supportive services, cash assistance program for immigrants, unemployment insurance and more.

The Dance Program is for students with developmental disabilities to learn creative choreography and dance in unison to enhance their physical and social skills through teamwork.

Students with developmental disabilities can develop their social and communication skills by making music together. Students with or without musical inclination are welcome to join as long as they love music. Auditions are required.

Carolyn Kordich Family Resource Center offers emotional, informational and educational support to families of children up to age 3 who have disabilities or are at risk of a disability so they can make appropriate decisions for their infants and toddlers.

Home-based services provide early childhood education in conjunction with parent education via a home visiting service delivery model. Based on an assessment of each family’s needs, strengths, and challenges, an individualized service plan is developed to identify the appropriate activities and support that will be most helpful for the child’s healthy development. Home visits can occur on a weekly or monthly basis depending on each family’s needs.

WISE & Healthy Aging’s Adult Day Service Center offers activities for adults with Alzheimer’s so that caregivers can go to work, do other tasks, or take a much needed break. They also offer support groups and educational seminars for caregivers.
