DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Take Control Mental Health Forum on Thursday\, January 30th at 6:30pm. \nNew Year Grief: Feeling Left Behind \nAs we welcome a new year\, many people set resolutions and goals with excitement for the future. However\, for individuals with disabilities\, this process can feel daunting. The uncertainty of health challenges and potential setbacks often make goal-setting more complex\, leaving some feeling “left behind” compared to their able-bodied peers. \nIn this session\, we’ll explore the grief that can arise from unfulfilled resolutions and discuss practical strategies for setting meaningful and achievable goals as individuals with disabilities.
